 1 pound beef
 3 cups beef brothbullion or consomme
 4 tsp oil or butter preferably butter
 1 tsp minced garlic
 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
 ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
 1 cup red wine
 2 bay leaves
 1 peeled and chopped onions
 5 peeled and cut into 1/4-inch rounds carrots
 1 cup corn
 1 cup peas
 1 cup peeled and cut into 3/4-inch cubes potatoes
 2 tsp salt

Place the ribs in the beef broth in your Instant Pot or slow cooker. Cook for 7-10 hours. You can skip this step if you have stew meat and beef broth.

Remove the meat and separate the meat from the bones and fat. Cut into 1-inch cubes.

You have a choice here - leave broth in the pan and cook the veggies in another pan. OR pour the broth in a bowl and use the sautee feature on the Instant Pot.

Heat two tbsps of oil or butter in a pan or your Instant Pot. Sautee onion and garlic until translucent. Also, cook the meat at this step if using raw meat. Precooked meat doesn't need to be.

Add the rest of the butter or oil. Sprinkle on a little flour and mix until you get hefty gravy.

Start pouring in red wine and mix until mixed well. I like to mix in a little broth as well. Maybe half a cup.

Mix everything together in the Instant Pot. Set on Stew and let it cook.

Let it slow release and it is done!
